I am having a problem with my server when I assign a manual IP my server has no internet access but it has LAN access, I can as well access the server from the outside with no problem. When I remove the Manual IP the everything acts normal. I have a Linksys Router with DMZ assigned to the Server IP. I believe this is a Router issue because even when I had Windows 2000 Server installed it did the same thing. I would appreciate if someone could please suggest something to fix this. I don't commonly ask for help on forums. But I had to because I could not find anyone on the internet who had a suggestion.

Not a whole lot of info to go on, so...
When you say you can connect to the server, are you using the IP address or a DNS address? Try PINGing both to make sure your Fully Qualified Domain Name is configured correctly for the manual IP address (I'm assuming this is a static IP address and so everything is set correctly with whatever DNS servers you use).
Also, if you're running a DMZ does this machine have 2 NICs?
If that doesn't help, try starting a new post and give us a little more info. Such as..
Is this a home or business network?
How do you handle IP addresses? A DHCP server? if so, is this the same server?
Is there a firewall setup that needs to be configured to grant Internet access?
Have you tried a TRACERT from outside to see if things are hitting the server?Just some ideas....
