I work for a small business and I am trying to set up a network that supports our distributed employee base.
Behind our firewall, I have a Dell PowerEdge 830 running Windows Server 2003 (SP2) for Small Business Server, and a Dell PowerVault NF100 running Windows Storage Server 2003 R2.
What I want to do is link the new NF100 Storage Server to the Active Directory Domain that is already created on the PE830, in order to share user log in credentials. Is there a way to gain access to the storage server using the exact same user group as employees use to gain access to our other server?
Am I all wrong here with my approach? How would YOU set up two different servers, connected to the same switch, with regards to Active Directory domains and authentication?
Thanks for your help. I'm very much a newbie and any help is appreciated.

I think this is what you are looking for

Person who is pro choice and anti sex education.
Education is key to prevention. Prevent conception you prevent abortion.
Abstinence training clearly isn't working.

Thanks, that worked like a charm to join the Storage Server to the existing domain. The problem I am having now is regarding folder sharing.
I created a root folder that will hold subfolders for all of our employees to backup data into. I added the Domain Users group from the Active Directory Domain to the sharing and security lists for this shared folder. Unfortunately, I can only map the network drive to a laptop using the administrator password. Every other username is denied access.
Suggestions?
