I have a remote user that uses vpn to connect. When she tries to map a network drive she gets the following error.
The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: An extended error has occurred.
She was onsite last week and had no problem mapping the drive locally. The drive is no longer mapped.

Make sure that the user name and password of the profile that the user logs on is same for local profile of the PC and VPN user account. If you authenticate VPN account through AD and set Firewall to get the password from AD server, there may not be an issue.
