Comment:

I need the login syntax exactly used by windows 2003 server.

TCP or UDP -- TCP i think.

The sytanx thats gets sent .. EXACTLY to login and be ready to process commands

Example like ftp syntax

USER username
PASS password
CWD (commands, etc)

The reason i ask if for a program im working on and it doesn;t have an echo to begin with so i am going on nothing.

You could try to use a pakketsniffer to capture your network traffic, like Ethereal. I think it's freeware.

But if it is encrypted, then I am not sure wether you will get anything readable.

I'm new at this so forgive me if I havent got your ? right...when you submit a post
the exact location of your DNS comes up on the screen..when you install 2003 AD on Wk3 I think you have to use a registered domain and basically have permissions for those folks--so perhaps the days of exact "syntax" are over with.. Am I wrong?
I need some education so if youhave the time..
