I have a number (5 at this time) Win servers running 2000 and 2003 that I need to make images of. Looking for an imaging software that can burn right to DVDs and boot from same dvd drive or external HD. I'd like like to save some money here so any software that is not license picky would be great. Is there any software that will let me install on multi servers in the same domain?

This is for a non-profit so their budget is very limited.

Thanks

There is no free server software that I know of. Acronis fits your criteria but its not free.

I also work for a nonprofit and this allows me to purchase MS software at below educational costs. Other companies also have reduced costs for nonprofits so you should ask about nonprofit discounts.

I use Ghost, the exe fits on a floppy and it takes images of all Windows Operating systems. It takes 5 minutes to instal OS from a Ghost image on to a new H.D. or to install over the existing OS there's no need to format the H.D first. Acronis as well as Ghost can be used to store and deply multiple OS in a Network environment. But for home user a Ghost on a floppy is a dream software!

Sorry, but I am a die hard Acronis fan. It's helped me out way more than Ghost ever has. Ghost works, but one bad experience turned me off from that point on. As long as the image can fit on a dvd, you should be ok. You might have to have 2 cd/dvd drives though. I use the recovery cd to boot up and another drive to throw the dvd-image into to pull it from there.
