my w2k3 server all of a sudden just stop booting up, for reason i dont know. first, when i turn it on it, it runs the POST and gets to the point where its showing Windows Server 2003 (with dark background) attempting to boot/initialize. but simply remains trying to boot without really coming up. And even sometimes reboot by itself, and goes on in this cycle. i`ve tried "Last know good configuration", "Safe mode", and all those options there still no way. who knows what this problem is and the solution?

"for reason i dont know." no new partitions, drives or software added? All hardware confirmed as workable? You have prevented the server from being malwared, virus infected or hacked?
enter recovery console run fixboot if not successfully booting then start the W3k install via bios bootup and do a repair reinstall. Reload your service packs and you are done. The repair reinstall does not touch your data.
Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?
