this is my first time of installing MS system management server. i'm installing it on w2k3 server. during installation the below error keep poping up:
The SQL Server service on server 192.168.1.10 cannot be started.
Either the SQL Server is in a Windows NT 4 domain or this computer's machine account does not have Administrator's privileges on the SQL Server. To install a site in advanced security, all servers must be in Active Directory and the site server's machine account must have Administrator's privileges on the SQL Server.
ok, i have MS SQL 2000 server in the network, and all the servers are in the same (w2k3 server) domain.
the confusing thing to me here is: in the sql server, do i have to join the account of the sms server machine?
or how do i successfully install an sms server2003 in a w2k3 server? an installation instruction/manual?
