move user from one OU to another

if i setup a new user in active directory under OU1 and create a exchange mailbox for them will it mess up the exchange mailbox if i moved them to say OU2.

No i dont think so - it will only affect the group policies applied to that user - which will change according to the new OU - but the exchange mailbox should be unaffected.

just make sure you move the user to the new OU correctly. find them in the list and rt click on them/select move/select the new OU.
