Subject: Monitor Servers
OS: 2003
CPU/Ram: P4
Model/Manufacturer: Dell
Comment:
I am checking several servers, DC, SQL, WEB.
I am logging in each day and checking the vital stats trying to miminize the chance of that server going down. I really am not sure as to what I should be looking at. I am examing the eventlogs for suspecious activty, and looking at the GFI important events. What else should I be looking at, in tems of memory usage.. etc... if you have anything to share that pertains to this, that would be awesome.
Thanks
Chris

The first thing that comes to mind is checking to ensure all backups have run properly and are written to the backup media.
