Is there a way to have a login script work when 2003 is just a member server? I don't need a PDC - just a way to map a drive to a home folder on the server? The clients are all Win98SE.
setup a .bat file that maps the drive using the "net" command

Yes - that can be done but is there a way to get a single drive as the home folder like Novell and Linux does. As far as I can see Win9x can't do a subst command and the best you can get is h:\users (where users is a share wih all the user folders) instead of H. I would have suspected that server 2003 would finally enable a true home folder. Is there any way to have Win9x recognize the username on logon??
