MDAEMON service stops automatically

CPU/Ram: Pentium 4, 512 MB
Product: IBM Server e series

I have Windows serve 2003 enterprise edition on my mail server. The application i use for mails is MDAEMON. Now, after installing service pack 1 for windows server 2003 the mdaemon service doesnot start. pls help if anybody knows why is this happening.
