Map Net Drive after H/W failure

Dear all,
I have a mapped network drive. In a directory inside the mapped drive there is shared directory. When a hardware failure occurs at the server where the map directory physically exists the map drive is inaccessible which is normal. When the failure is fixed the shared directory configuration is not valid any more and this causes the application to fail. Has anyone faced a similar issue? If yes is there a solution?

I suspect you will have to go back and reshare the folder and redo the ACL. First, kill the existing share, then redo it.

Thanks for the reply Curt,
We have done this in order to get the share directory working again. The issue that we need this to be restored automatically if possible. Can it be done using only scripting or Windows 2003 server support something similar?
