I've got a major SP2 issue on my hands here, I hope somebody can help! I'm in the process of reinstalling all the machines where I work with Windows XP SP2. I've created an installation which is customised to my needs, ready to take an image of it to distribute. However, at the last hurdle, joining the domain, it fails! It says that more than one connection to the server with the same username is not allowed and I should disconnect all shares from the server and try again. But there isn't any! And to make sure it isn't a server problem I joined a 2000 machine I had lying around and it works perfectly. I'm gonna try doing the same with XP SP1 to confirm its SP2 but I'm pretty sure it is. I hope somebody can help!

Are you removing the computers from AD Users and Computers prior to attempting to rejoin them with the updated OS? If not, give that a try on one PC and see if the updated client doesn't rejoin the domain properly.
