Hi,
I went into Active Directory and disabled all my user accounts, including the administrator account. Now I'm locked out of my own system because no user accounts are enabled!
I know this must sound really dumb. Unfortunately I have Zero background in IT, I just work at a really small company where we don't have a dedicated IT pro so my boss asked me to do some stuff and all I've managed to do so far is lock myself out, lol...
Of course I could just do a fresh installation of Windows Server 2003 but this would be last resort, because there's a lot of important settings and stuff that I would lose.
If anyone might know of a way I can recover my system, I would REALLY appreciate any tips.
Thank you very much,
Raj

Download a copy of ERD Commander. It comes with a clever piece of software called locksmith.
You simply re-boot the server to CD. A clever little GUI comes up and allows you to change Administrator password. Re-boot and away you go. total process no more than 5 mins and no need for any IT exp.
good luck
