Comment: I have got a new video card today and I am playing with it just to see what it can do. I have a dual moniter setup with 2 different displays between a s video to a tv and the other display is the analog computer monitor. The problem is when I look at the tv screen there is lines in groups they keep moving up the tv screen in motion and and they start from the bottom of the tv screen and work there way up the tv screen. I don't know what the problem is but I would like to know how to fix the problem if at all possibable. The lines are driving me nuts because I don't know what the problem is so I can fix the problem. antibot215

Reply: Are you sure that it is an S-Video port on the machine? The significant problems we have cannot be solved at the same level of thinking with which we created them.

Reply: yes. there was a cord that came with video card that was meant for s-video to rca connection and that is a s-video connection on the back of the video card. the problem is the lines that are on the tv screen. I can see the video picture on both screens I have them setup as a clone for now. antibot215

Reply: Hmmm...that does sound a lot like a refresh rate issue. You didn't mention what type of monitors you're using. Are they CRT's or LCD's?

Reply: Oops, I forgot to add, you may want to try turning up/down the refresh rate on that particular monitor to see if that fixes the issue.

Reply: I have seen also laying your video cable down next to power cords will result in lines. Interference <-------- or however you spell it :). Try wiggling the video cable do the lines change their shape or jump around Learning in progress..........

Reply: I know. I just got allot of the electrical problems fixed now the garage needs fixed that won't be done untill later this year. I need to get my bedroom back up and running again as soon as I get everything hooked up I will try the one post about wiggling the wire around to see if the lines go away no matter what I will post the result on here. that will be as soon as I can pull out my stuff out of box's and put everything together again. antibot215
