I have a cross domain logon script that goes to another Windows 2003 server and maps a share on that server as G drive (within this script it puts in user name and password) that works great
my question is, once that runs that mounts a Drive G and I would know like to copy an exe file to anyones desktop that logs on. or a shortcut to that exe in the G drive. any ideas how to do this?

Forgive me, but what does your post have to do with the subject? Or vice versa...
Just place the shortcut in the folder that you have designated as the G: drive.
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Sorry about the topic mistake.
I have it in the G Drive but what is the logon script command to copy it to a desktop of different users, using a PC? thanks Jim

copy command?
Like in copy g:\shortcut.lnk \\home\users\%username%\path to desktop
Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search
