Sir,
I have installed Server2003....and got a virus like activity or might be a script or registry commands......
The problem is that i found my all drives automatically shared......without any shared icon (Hand)..... when i click on oermission it gv me a message that:

"This has been shared for administrative purpose, permission can not be set".

And when i disabled sharing...it told me that when server service stopped or system restarted it will again shared....

And in my office there are more than one computer infacted from such activity...and now in my home computer....
It also open my application late.... or u can say that it forgets to open applications and open them when any other activity started or i i logg off.... and some thing like that.
Sir kindly tell me that what is this script and how can i safe my PC from such activity.

Plz also gv me a reference about antivirus that can help me or some registry enteries and kindly told me that where it goes to do such kind of activity in windows... if possible.

Thanks alot!!

"This has been shared for administrative purpose, permission can not be set".

Those are the standard, default administrative shares created by windows on all drives. They always have a $ after the letter (ie: C$, D$ and so on for each and every drive).

Not to worry, this is not uusual, it's not a script or a virus.

If you want more info, go to MS's knowledge base and research "administrative shares".
