Please excuse me if this question is vague, I'm unsure as to how I got to this point. I set up RRAS/Terminal Services on my 2003 Server to allow our employees to VPN into the network. Everything works just fine, except for one thing. I lost my internet connection on the server. My entire network has internet, but it doesn't route through the server, it routes through a Firebox and a 48port Linksys switch, so of course that was not affected. I'd really like to restore my internet connection on my server, but as I said before I'm unsure as to how it got to that point. The RRAS and Terminal Services work, somehow. I can connect to the server from the outside, but I can't connect to the outside from the server. I'm assuming it has something to do with this:

Windows IP Configuration

PPP adapter RAS Server (Dial In) Interface:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.230
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.250
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.2.1

F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>

Can someone point me in the direction of associating my default gateway with my RAS Server connection, or tell me if I'm way off the mark? Thanks.

What is the binding order of the network adapters?

That's a start! That's a setting I've never seen before. In my bindings settings, under Connections, its listed as Local Area Connection, and then Remote Access Connections. In the bindings, File and Print Sharing and TCP/IP come first, then Client for MS Networks and TCP/IP second. There are no bindings listed for Remote Access Connections. Under the Provider Order tab, there's Network Providers, MS Terminal Services #1, MS Windows Network #2, and Web Client Network #3. Should I swap any of these, such as move the Terminal Services down to the bottom of the list? Thanks!

You can try moving the Remote Access Connection to the top, but I don't know if that's gonna fix it. Worth a try though.
