InstallShield engine(iKernel.exe) crashes

While installing my exe, I got error message "InstallShield engine(iKernel.exe) Could not be
launched. Class not registered."

The exe is meant to be installed in Windows OS only. I am using Install Shield 6.0.

The problem is that it occurs in some systems(not specifically Windows 2003 server) and it some in just works fine. What is the cause behind this?

I googled and found the solution to this issue, but how can I avoid it at the first place?
