Reply: You just plug it in to a USB port... You will see a new drive letter assigned to the USB drive ("D:" for example). In what ever software oyu are using, you jsut need to point it to the drive letter for the USB drive. -Ryan Adams http://RyanTAdams.com

Reply: The software already installed on the C: drive. Do i need to reinstall sage or just change the the path to reflect this new drive.

Reply: Are you referring to Sage the account/distribution software? I'm not familiar with it myself. If the software has a settings page there may be an option to select where to store the data. If so, just point it to the "D:" drive (or what ever letter your drive is assigned). If there is no such option, you will probably need to reinstall it. You can also contact their tech support directly and ask. You should make sure the USB drive stays connected at all times. Perhaps even tape/epoxy the cable in. If it accidentally gets unplugged, your software may freak out and do something strange. -Ryan Adams http://RyanTAdams.com
