Does anyone give me advice how to resolve the time issue in log file. I setup IIS6-FTP site and enable log using "w3c extended log file format", under properties, i also checked 'use local time for file naming and rollover'. Now the problem is the time logged whenever I view the log file is always 5 hours ahead: here is the example below: #Software: Microsoft Internet Information Services 6.0 #Version: 1.0 #Date: 2008-01-30 16:17:37 #Fields: time c-ip cs-username cs-method cs-uri-stem sc-status sc-win32-status 16:17:37 101.x.x.x alo [6]USER alo 331 0 16:17:37 101.x.x.x alo [6]PASS - 230 0
the time showed here is 5 hours ahead, which is acturally I ftp on 11:17am. I am sure the server is using correct timezone and system time on BIOS is correct, too. Are there anywhere I should check? thanks!
