I'm sure this question shows that I am a nOOb to Win2k3 IIS but...
I'm trying to set up a website using IIS 6.0 and a dsl line (static ip) in my apartment. I have done this before with WinXP PRO and now I want to set it up with my new server 2003 machine. Accessing the site from inside the lan is no problem. What I dont understand is where can I open up port 80 to the public internet for incomming requests. Do I have to use IPsec? is there a non-command line based way to solve this?
The stability I have with 2003 is great for my networking dhcp and soforth but the security settings are confusing to me.

You have to forward ports to that Computer on Your router if you have one. Also some dsl modems have a built in firewall and either you have to forword a port on them also or as with the msn dsl modem I use to have, it was not configurable then you are out of luck.
