I have a windows 2003 terminal server I have set up a number of printers successfully, including a 4si with jetdirect, however when I try to setup an HP 9000 with a jetdirect card for IP printing the printer wizard cannot see the jetdirect card and so lists it as 'generic'.
I change this to HPjetdirect, install the printer driver but it won't print: "document failed to print" I can ping the printer I can install this printer on an XP workstation. That install will also list the card as 'generic' but after choosing the HP jetdirect manually it works fine.
Not sure what is going on here. Firmware etc., is up to date...
