Hi, I am thinking about putting Win 2k3 back on my server. It runs so much nicer than Win XP does. (This is just a house network that shares internet.) I have an HP PSC 950 All-in-one printer that has a fax, copy, scan and print functions. When having this setup in the past, all I can do with the printer is print only. HP doesn't offer any help for getting it setup in Win 2k3 Server. I have tried to use compatibility mode and it hasn't helped. Any ideas on how to get the scan function to work? I am almost thinking of setting up a virtual machine on that computer that all it does is run Win XP within Win 2k3 and have that only do the scan function. The reason I want to do this is I run direcway satellite internet and with WinXP, I get about an average of 1 Mb/s download on the server and around 300 Kb/s downloads on the clients. With Win 2k3, I get on the average 3-4 Mb/s download on the server (the highest I saw was 7 Mb/s!!!) and around 2-3 Mb/s downloads on the clients. A huge improvement.
