Please be specific.
what do you mean by "image volume"? what is the size of the volume? how many disks are involved presently? what are you trying to expand to?

Thanks, wanderer. I have 2*80G dynamic disks, which are configed as Mirror volume. 3*250G disks configed as RAID 5 volume. I need to enlarge the OS on the Mirror volume, there are still 40G unallocated space on this volume. Tried in disk management, but it cannot. Also searched everywhere, but this is no result. Can wanderer or others help me? thanks

One workaround is to use Acronis [only clone software I know of that supports dynamic disks] to make a image of the existing c: drive then restore the image expanding it to use the entire disk array.

Thanks, wanderer. I have found the information, the fact is that system volume, boot volume, Mirror/Stripe/Raid5 volume cannot be extended in disk Management. So I have to try third party tool. I also tried Acronis, but it cannot recognise my mirror volume, finally I use partition master from EASEUS, the dynamic volume copy is quite interesting. http://partition-tool.com/easeus-pa... anyway, thanks wanderer for your help
