First you installed AD and Dns inyour Server.After that go to your xp machime and configured your server ip address inyour preffered dns server.then go to your system property click computer name.from there you have to see that change option.click change. default it will be in workgroup.you have to add your dns name in the domain text box.after adding these ask for username and passwors.you have to type your server username and password.automatically asking for restart.thats all.
