Hey everyone,
I'm running Windows Server 2003, not 100% what version but I can find out if it matters. I just have a question about how terminal services work. Does Server 2003 include any licences for terminal services at all or do I have to buy all of them?
Here's really my situation, there's times when from home or what not I want to connect to my server. At home I use a mac and some applications don't run on it, so I'd like to use remote desktop and then connect to a user account on the server and just run applications that way. I don't want to just do remote desktop though since I can only control the administrator account and I'd rather access remotely as a standard user if that makes sense. I'm the only one that needs this access so just trying to find out if I'm able to do that as is. Thanks!

Two concurrent users can connect remotely without having to buy any more licenses. So you should be fine :)

I must make a correction to the previous post... You can 2 administrative remote desktop sessions with the server OS; however, if you want to logon as a standard user, a terminal server license is required to enable terminal services.... The 2 admin sessions are for IT remote management not applications.
