Hosting FTP on Member Server

Hi,

Actually i have a Domain Controller, and i want to host a Isolate user's FTP site on Member server. I am not able to acces the FTP site from Member server, but if i host this site on Domain Controller i can acces it.

is there any sollution to acces it from Member Server.

Putting it on a domain controller won't help, and that would increase the attack surface on the machine storing all your domain accounts. Not a good idea.

First off, do you really need FTP for what you're trying to do? Why FTP? Perhaps there's something else that would work better for you.

What exactly are you using FTP for?

actually i want to host a Isolate FTP site on my network. B'cause i have some files to be present on Network for 24X7. for users only. not for all, thats why i want to host an FTP isolate user's FTP site.

"Some files" doesn't help determine if FTP is the right application. Are they documents, media files, what?

Normal documents and folders only. non another than this.

actually im not able to login with the user accounts. if login then i can access those files and folders. im not at all able to login there.

if i once login, then i think i can acces those files.

so please reply.....
