Set up a test profile for "average joe" user. Drive gets mapped okay, see it in explorer. Typing 'set home' at cmd seems to show the correct values for HOMEDRIVE, HOMEPATH, HOMESHARE. There is no "Autorun" value in registry. Note these systems are on an Army network and the images were based on a locked down policy. Not sure if that is the problem.
What determines the directory shown in the command prompt and what would override this or make it null/void? What I get in the cmd prompt is:
c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kit Tools>
Set home shows:
HOMEDRIVE=U:
HOMEPATH=HOMESHARE=\\Servername\home$\UserNameWhat's up with this? FYI I followed instructions for permissions on server from MS article ID 27443.
