Im using AD so in the profile I have users mapped to their home directory. Sometimes it maps to just their home directory and sometimes it maps the whole root and they have access to others home directories. How do I deny access to others and have it consisent in mapping just their home drive.

Do the users actually have access to the other folders, or can they just view them? There's a difference.
You need to make sure that the profile contains the correct path to the home folder ie \\servername\sharename$ and that the permissions are set as such that each user and Domain Admins are the ONLY ones with access to the share.

Yes they do have access. I have to deny everyone in order for it to work correctly. I know thats not the correct way to do it. I have just found out that if I put the HD's on the same server it doesn't map the root but I I still need to know the correct way to do the permissions. At first I had the HD's going to a seperate server.

As I said, you need to set each share for use by ONLY Domain Administrators and the appropriate userID.

My path is \\servershare\home\$user$. I need to add every ID to the servershare and give proper rights and not make any modifications to the subfolders?
Also I am fairly new to this but I had to make some of my users domain admins because my login scripts wont run unless I do that. It gives me an "unable to save to desktop" error. Thanks for helping
