I need help on how to set up DNS using my ISP's information. I have a router and im not to sure about how to set this server behind that router or if i should connect the server directly to the cable from the ISP and then to the router or vice versa

Goes modem->router->server

Wksts point to server as dns not internet

Server has its local zone which is the same subnet as all pcs/router lan ports.
Server dns has the isp dns servers listed in the forwarders tab [not forward lookup zone]

Give a person a fish, they eat for a day. Suggest they internet search and they learn a skill for a lifetime.
