I'm planning on upgrading our server from windows 2000 to windows 2003. Before I actually start, I set up a testbed, made a clean windows 2000 advanced server installation, updated everything, made some test shares, user profiles, group policies etc. then I tried to upgrade it to windows server 2003 enterprise. Now at the end of "preparing installation" step, a messege pops up saying an error occoured when copying agv9vtma.sys to c:\$WINNT$.~BT\agv9vtma.sys the file is missing. I can either retry (wich won't do anything) or skip (wich will result a fail when system reboots to setup win2k3) or cancel. I've been searching everywhere about this file, but no luck. Looks like no one has ever mentioned anything about it. I've tried to search for it on microsoft.com, they don't contain any information about it either. So if anyone knows what's going on, help please.

Do you have the AVG virus program installed? It looks like one of their files but they don't have a version 9....only up to 7 at the present time.I looked in my files of x64 enterprise but could not find a file by that name. It may be something other than the virus program mention above.

A bad CD perhaps?

well, it's not really CD issue, as I tried another installation CD, still get the same error. Also, there is no virus scan program installed on my testbed. Because it's a testbed, it doesn't have anything but the operation system itself. Thanks anyway. Any other suggestions?
