I have a domain with several "domain users" (who have standard user permissions). I also have several dozen computers that different users sign onto on a regular basis. I know how to change folder permissions for a network folder as it is stored in a central location and easy to change. However, the problem I have is that I am trying to change permissions on a local folder on EACH computer, without having to go to each computer to do so.
I thought I had it figured out when I found that I can add "CACLS" to a logon script. However, the problem I found is that it won't work if the user doesn't have the proper rights to change folder permissions.
To simplify, my question is this:
I am looking to give my standard "domain users" full access to C:\Program Files\Sample Folder on every computer. Is there a simple way to do this without me, as the administrator, having to log on to each machine and change the permissions?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Use a GPO.
