Group Policy Error

hi, i have a problem in group policy : i'm logging on the domian controller as ADMINISTRATOR, and when i tried to create new group policy object or configure any setting of group policy, a message error appears : "you do not have permissions to perform this operation. access denied ! "..but i'm the administrator! so how i don't have permissions???! anybody can help me?

please specify, are you in a group called administrators? or you actually are logged in with a username administrator which is a domain built-in account for domain control?
in first case everything is normal, since system will not let you modify domain setting unless you are logged in with built-in domain controller account (administrator that is).
check the type of your account and let me know.

You should confirm Administrator is a part of the domain admins group. It may have been removed.
