Hello,

I'm trying to enable group policies so when that someone logs into a computer on my network, it will enforce the policy so they cannot run Windows Messenger or other programs.

I've tried everything and fiddled with the settings and it's just not working at all. Does anyone know any sites that contain step by step instructions to get the darn thing to work?

Thanks so much for your help and time.

"Everything" is a pretty broad term. What exactly have you tried? Are you talking about the Windows Messenger Service, or the Instant Messenger program itself?

What "Other" programs do you want to restrict? User will certainly need access to some programs; otherwise, why bother providing computers at all?..

Life's more painless for the brainless.
