Hello,

One of my client as a network with about 200 workstation that are connected on a private network with a company. Those workstation connect to a Windows 2003 server with no issue but when it comes to apply GPO to those workstation it doesn't work.

On the client side the firewall is disabled but their ISP as a firewall also which could be blocking GPO.

If anyone know a link where i could find the port used by Group Policy i would appreciate i have been looking for a day and haven't found anything about which port need to be opened.

For some reason i need to disable an option on those workstation and it would be much faster to use GPO then connecting 1 by 1.

I can apply GPO without problem at the head office but when i need to apply it to the workstations outside the head office it doesnt work.

Addind a figure just to make sure im clear since english isnt my primary language :)

Figure a.

ISP Private network - Firewall - Head Office

Thanks,

Is the remote subnet listed in AD under sites and services?

What does event viewer logs say is the reason for the gpo failure?

Are you ready for where Microsoft wants you to go today?
