Dear All
We currently run a small network for over 700 users. At present we have 2 domain controllers listed and have connection to another domain via trusts.
Due to problems with DFS, I have as a temporary measure added users file paths back to absolute paths, not an ideal solution but one had to act quick.
I am wanting to add some real redundancy to our network and was looking at Microsoft Cluster services as an option instead of DFS.
One area that I have not looked into yet is a Global Catalog allocation on both domain controllers is this wise and what's the best method if any when the system is live.

If both DC's are located within the same site (ie: physical location) you won't need a GC on both DC's. However, remote servers for remote sites should have a copy of the GC on them.
