i have a domain with multiple DC + around 500 users. all my users have no rights to do anything on their machine. what i need is to configure a user from IT department that when he will go to install or troubleshoot their pc will be able to.. but i don't want him or her to have admin rights in the domain servers and all. any suggestions?

Group policy - restricted Groups - just add the group you want to give access to the 'administrators' group. This will completely control the local administrators group and limit it to the local administrator account and the groups you add. If users/it staff change the local administrators group, it will revert to the setting from the group policy after the group policy refresh time (90 mins)
