Hey guys! I have a question about Ghost Cast Server.
We have a network that is all static IP addresses. But I want to make our GhostCast Server an Dynamic IP address server because i have found i very hard to use static when using ghosting with alot machines unless your using floppy drives. So my question is can i make server apart of static IP address network using only dynamic on this server and still be undetectable if a student was to say plug in in the library into the wall with there laptop. and or any recommendations for doing this? What is your most common practices?

How about filtering by MAC address? It would be a lot of work up front, but it might pay off. Set your DHCP server to "manual allocation" so that only MACs in in the MAC address table get IP numbers.
