Comment:

My server seems to be shutting off. Whenever I go to log back in, I have two error messages. The first just tells me that the system restarted after an unexpected shutdown. The second message says: "Generic Host Process for Win 32 services encountered a problem and needed to close"

Is this second message causing the computer to shut down? How do I stop it.

Thanks,

Quick like a bunny...Download the security update from MS related to the RPC overrun. There is a hacker attempting to get into your system. I just had to do this on all XP clients and 2000 and NT servers

Prolly the worm going around yesterday and today, do you have a firewall? If not, why not? Block ports 139 and 69 to prevent this worm from infecting you and all your network users.

Finally got rid of the blast worm but now I keep getting a message from Zone Alarm asking me if I would like Generic Host Process Win32 tomy act as a server. I also get a message asking if a program raar.exe can access the internet. I deny both of them but shortly afterwords my computer freezes.
I would appreciate it if anyone has any advice on how to solve the problem since I don`t have a clue.
