I have windows server 2003 Standard edition, and whenever i play games, the screen will go back to the desktop, completely shutting down the game. I have installed nvidia graphics drivers for winxp/2000. My video card is a Geforce fx 5200.

I have said above, not designed to run games, you might want to look at getting XP (home or Pro) for the games.

Or 98 if you don't have XP or 2000 Pro. I'm sure if you checked around (including ebay) you could find a copy of 98 dirt cheap.

Thank you for all of your help, but i have figured out what the problem was. I overclocked my CPU, and that is apparently what was causing all of my problems with running games.

When you install server 2003 by default it lowers your hardware acceleration, set it to full (right click on desktop>Properties>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot)
Run DirectX diagnosis to make sure grx/sound are ok (start>run 'dxdiag')
