Simple question, just wondering what best practice would be in regards to local groups and permissions on a file server.
Basically I want to know if its better to create "Domain Local" groups on the DC, or better to create local groups on the actual file server, thanks

It's easier to administrate if you create a group in the AD, I'd say. But it's really up to you. If you have AD already, why not use it?
