Hello.

I have been trying to find out if it is possible to extend a network share over several physical drives. I have a HD full of media under a share called video. This HD is pretty full now, and I would like to add a second one for this, but I would like the content of both disks to be available under just one share so that users don't have to go look in two different shares where the file is.

I hope you also understand the risks that come with a spanned disk/volume set. Make sure you are backing up.

You would be better off simple moving all the pics and share to the new drive. With the same name it is transparent to network users.

Golly gee wilerkers everyone. Learn to Internet Search
