I cannot seem to figure out why explore.exe crashes whenever I am logged into my server through Remote Desktop connection and I attempt to access the hard drives on the machine. I am able to open my documents, but if I go to search or go into my computer the windows close and I get an error with explorer.exe. The error never happens if I am sitting in front of server and only when remotely connected. Any ideas what would be causing this?

I've seen cases of this when McAfee is the culprit. Updating to a later patch resolved the issues with explorer.exe crashing.
