How do I transfer My Exchange Server to another Exchange Server using the same name of the old exchange server. For Example, My Exchange Server's name is Exchangeserver and I got a new server and want to transfer the entire old exchange server to the new one without any downtime and configuration and schema mess up. Both Machines are different in hardware so I can't transfer the harddrive to the old exchange server to the new exchange server. How do I setup a new exchange server using the same computer name which is exchangeserver?

Hello,

The best way of doing this is described in the Microsoft KB.
