I installed Exchange Server 2003 on my domain controller, before someone told me that I should install Exchange Server 2003 on a different machine. When I installed Exchange Server 2003 on a domain server, I then transfered the mailboxes to the new server, but then when I try to uninstall Exchange Server of my domain contoller, it uninstalls successfully and then when I restart my server, it tells me "At Least 1 Service or Driver Failed" and when I look at my event viewer, it gives me a bunch of DNS Server problems. I don't feel comfortable with my DC having Exchange Server 2003 on it, when I am not even using Exchange Server 2003 on that server, ESPECIALLY when people say that Exchange Server causes problems with LDAP with DNS. I should have NEVER INSTALLED IT THERE, but now its too late and I am so confused on this issue. I better of reinstalling my whole domain, but it would take FOREVER and I just want to GET RID OF EXCHANGE SERVER 2003 off my Domain Controller. I AM STUCK!!!!!!!!!! What Do I Do?

why would you need to reinstall your whole domain?
do you only have a single domain controler?
if so thats a big problem.
If you had a second DC you could remove the DC ith exchange on it and rebuild.
sounds like you did something wrong, removing exchange from a dc should cause no issues.

I have only 1 domain controller. Do I make my exchange server a second domain controller? Must I use Windows Server 2003 on my exchange server domain controller? I have windows 2000 advanced server installed on my exchange server and it isnt a domain controller. Let Me Uninstall Exchange Server off my domain controller and show you what I get.

you should have two DCs, and a exchange server.
you can run exchange on a dc with no problem .. its just better not to.
you can use win 2000 as a DC, if you kept AD in mixed mode or native 2000

I only have 2 available Powerful Servers. My only possible computers to make my second domain controllers are a Pentium 2 MMX 300 153 MB of RAM, Pentium MMX 200 64 MB of RAM or Celeron 400 MHz 248 MB of RAM. Must I install Windows 2000 Advanced Server or Windows Server 2003? Or will I be better of having Windows Server 2003 on a VMWare Virtual Server emulated on my main server, or buy a Pentium III/IV class system with about 256 MB of RAM.
