Hello,
I just started a position with a company and I have an issue that I was hoping to get help with. I have a user that gets duplicate emails whenever his Outlook is closed. If Outlook is open, all is well. There is an Exchange server but the settings look ok. The only thing that looks fishy is that he has duplicate mailboxes in Exchange System Manager.

Perhaps he is getting duplicate emails because one of his mailboxes synchronizes whenever you close/open outlook. Try hitting the send recieve while outlook is open and see if he gets a bunch of emails he already has. Regardless you need to remove one of the mailboxes in exchange system manager. If youre unsure which one to remove do this instead: Open the exchange active directory of users and computers. Find the users account under users, open properties and go to email addresses. There should only be one smtp listed, if there is more than one remove whichever is incorrect.
Let me know what happens.
