Before I start, let me say that I don’t make the decisions I just have to support them.
Most of our machines are sun solaris positions with PCi cards. Unfortunately not all of our machines have the cards yet, so many of them still use regular SMTP mail. The powers that be decided we would be better of using exchange. Many of our applications (and users) depend on majordomo currently. Right now people are manually reconciling the majordomo aliases with exchange distro lists. Any ideas on how to automate this? I know a lot about majordomo, but not much about exchange. Is there a way to input a comma or tab delimited file into exchange for a distro list?
