I am installing Symantec Endpoint and EP manager on a virtual (MS 2003 64x) server for testing. Failure to login results in an error in Event Viewer indicating: 'The user (IIS in this case) has not been granted the requested logon type at this machine'. Admin is not in Power users group and I do not have a Remote 'Operators' Group...only Remote Desktop users and admin has to be in there.

How can I grant permission to the IIS user to access this program?

This sounds like the IIS account needs to be granted the logon locally right.
