Yes, indeed I have been through many sites including the one you suggested. Please note that the WMI code creator easily connects to somoe of the remote machines and pulls the names of the printers on those machines BUT the WMI code creator does not retrieve the printers names from one of the machines which is win server 2003 SP2.

enable the service for it , it's called "Windows Management Instrumentation" make sure is started and on automatic... if it's not there , put the DVD or CD in the drive and install it...

It seems the WMI can connect to the remote machine after I enabled DCOM on the target machine. I posted another problem regarding WMI to retrieve data. So I believe this post is now solved. Thanks anywway.
